Although physically separated by several hundred miles, CIBO is an integral part of the public administrations of Guernsey and Jersey and operates as part of the wider team promoting the Islands’ international interests. It is essential for CIBO staff to visit the Islands regularly – to meet face to face with Ministers and officials, and with wider stakeholders such as States members, regulators, industry, and others. In 2012 CIBO staff made 6 separate visits to the Islands. The first visit of 2013 was held on 21-25 January, and was an opportunity to discuss and agree priorities for our work for the year ahead.
