OECD gives backing to Guernsey as a cooperative jurisdiction

The Guernsey Chief Minister today welcomed the statements by the OECD that underlined Guernsey’s reputation as a cooperative jurisdiction. This follows the erroneous and wholly unjustified inclusion of Guernsey in a list published by the European Commission on 17 June, as part of it Action Plan on Corporate Taxation, which purported to be a “EU list of third country non-cooperative tax jurisdictions” compiled from Member States national lists.
