Guernsey and Jersey to become part of the geographic scope of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA)

The European Payments Council has today [4 February 2016] confirmed that from 1 May 2016 the islands of Guernsey and Jersey, together with the Isle of Man, will become part of the geographic scope of the direct debit and credit transfer schemes of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).
