Officials from Guernsey, Jersey and CIBO held a round of talks on EU issues with senior Irish officials in Dublin on 10 July. This followed the successful Ministerial visit in September 2012 which had also focused on EU issues ahead of the 2013 Irish Presidency. Meetings on this latest visit were held with the Department of the Taoiseach, the Department of Finance, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as with Irish finance industry representatives. The British Ambassador, His Excellency Dominick Chilcott, hosted a dinner at his Residence for the delegation.
