Ana joined CIBO in September 2023 as Fiscal Attaché, where she is responsible for tax policy developments at EU and OECD levels. She has over 23 years of experience in EU Affairs, EU Political Economy, Government, Policy design and legislation, public service, diplomacy, international relations with emphasis on economy, trade, finance, and taxation. She held positions in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia where she was in charge, at governmental level, of developing and implementing Partnership Strategies with World Bank, EBRD, CEB, EIB, and other donors. Before coming to Brussels, she was a tax auditor (senior inspector) for the Croatian Tax Administration responsible for establishing systems for tax relevant information exchange. Ana served for 4 years at the Croatian Permanent Representation to the EU where she was coordinator of the tax team and chaired several Working Parties on Tax Questions during the Croatian Presidency of the Council. Ana is married to Stjepan, and tries to navigate her two teenagers.
